The spirit of the Data Act is to give users of connected products and related services (businesses or individuals thatown, lease or rent such a product) and other businesses with an interest in this data fair access to and greater transparency of the data generated. It will also support companies to develop innovative, data driven technologies. To achieve these aims, the
Data Act stipulates a number of general conditions where a business (or a data holder) has a legal obligation to share data with a user and another business.<\/p>
